Munich’s other big football club (FC Bayern is the best known) TSV 1860 München recently unveiled their 2016/17 Macron home and away kits.

A fixture in the German Bundesliga for most of the 1990s and into the early 2000s, Die Löwen (The Lions) have plied their trade in the 2. Bundesliga since 2004. Their 2016/17 home kit see the club return to a striped sky blue and white home shirt after a single year in a solid look. The jersey has a modern polo collar with a v-neck that has a white insert in it. It is matched with black shorts and socks that both have light blue detailing.

TSV 1860 Munich’s 16/17 away kit is mainly black. The shirt has a series of tonal stripes that are slate in appearance. The collar on the jersey is a modern v-neck affair with a stand-up piece towards its back.

Both shirts have an image of a lion printed on their inside neck in celebration of the team’s nickname. The popular TSV 1860 phrase of “Einmal Löwe, immer Löwe” (One a Lion, Always a Lion) is embroidered on the outside upper back of the kits.
