Under new ownership and a new manager, Aston Villa Football Club have a new technical sponsor in Under Armour following four seasons with Macron.
As The Villans looks for promotion from the Football League Championship to the Premier League during their upcoming season they have unveiled their 2016/17 home and away kits. Both will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag .
The first ever Aston Villa Under Armour home shirt is in club’s well-known claret with a sky blue polo collar and sleeves. It has a two buttoned placket and inside neck taping that reads “PURPOSE. PASSION. PRIDE.” The jersey is matched with mainly white shorts and sky blue and claret socks.
Aston Villa’s 2016/17 away kit is mainly white with an classic-feel block of sky blue on its upper chest. A claret line runs beneath it and matches with the back part of the jersey’s v-neck collar. The alternate shirt is matched with predominantly sky blue shorts and white socks.
A second division club for the first time since 1988 following relegation from the Premiership last season, Aston Villa kick off their Championship campaign with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on August 6.
