The new Die Alte Dame (The Old Lady) primary shirt will be the first choice kit of the club during their upcoming German Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Europa League seasons. It uses a modern Nike rounded neck design without much embellishment.
The Hertha BSC 16/17 home kit features the Berlin club’s traditional blue and white vertical stripes. The stripes on the new shirt are wider than in most recent years with just two blue and two white stripes appearing on the front of the jersey. A series of thinning stripes appear within the blue stripes.
The sleeves and shoulder areas are in a darker shade of blue than the striping and match with the socks that accompany the shirt. The shorts used for the uniform match with the stripes on the body of the kit.
DFB-Pokal (German Cup) semi-finalists last term, Hertha Berlin kick off their Bundesliga season against Freiburg on August 27.
