Everton FC 2016/17 Umbro Home Kit

Everton Football Club today unveiled their 2016/17 home kit from technical partner Umbro. It is now available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, Subside Sports, Lovell Soccer and UK Soccer Shop..

The new Toffees primary shirt takes its design inspiration from the team’s soon to be 125 year old Goodison Park stadium along with the club’s past.

In the familiar royal blue of the Barclays Premier League fixtures, the Everton 2016/17 Umbro home shirt features an inside neck print of the geographic coordinates of Goodison park. The criss-cross architectural signature of Bullens Road Stand architect Archibald Leitch is included above the print. It is also embossed on the entire back of the jersey, along its shoulders and on its lower front.

The new Everton FC home kit features the team’s customary white detailing through its classic ribbed roundneck collar and sleeve cuffs. Yellow also appears on the cuffs and on the accompanying shorts and socks. The look of the shorts is based on those worn by EFC in 1997.

Everton captaion Phil Jagielka commented: “There’s nothing like playing at Goodison Park in front of our passionate fans and knowing you are following in the footsteps of some of the greatest footballers in the world.

The nod to the stadium and its history in the kit is a great touch. I love the detail of having the co-ordinates on the neck of the shirt.”

Everon will debut their 16/17 home kit when they host relegated Norwich City in the final round of the ongoing Premier League season on Sunday.
