Sporting KC 20th Anniversary Night 1990s-Inspired Kits

Sporting KC will wear a couple 1990s-inspired jerseys for their 20th Anniversary Night meeting with Colorado Rapids on April 13 at Children’s Mercy Park.

The Kansas City Wiz 1996 adidas Home Kit

The two-times MLS Cup champions will warm up for the match in a black adidas training kit featuring rainbow stripes on its front. The shirt is based on the infamous 1996 Kansas City Wiz home jersey. It feature the old Wiz badge along with a multi-colored number “20” on its lower front right.

Sporting Kansas City will switch to their mainly white 2015/16 adidas third kit for their 20th Anniversary match. Its numbering will feature the colorful series of stripes that made the Wiz’ 1996 shirt a memorable piece of Major League Soccer history.
