Brazilian giants Santos Futebol Clube unveiled their first ever Kappa kit collection on Tuesday following their big money switch from Nike.
The Santos FC 2016 home, away, training and leisure ranges were all officially presented at a invitation only event at the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A team’s Vila Belmiro stadium. The home and away kits were modeled by several “Peixe” (Fish) players including veteran Brazilian internationals Ricardo Oliveira and Elano.
The Santos 2016 home jersey is in the club’s world famous all white while the away shirt is in its equally well-known black and white stripes. The alternate kit uses wider stripes than in recent years to given the jersey a very classic appearance.
Both of Santos’ 2016 match kits utilize the slimfitting Kappa Kombat 2016 design with a two-piece standing collar and a buttonless placket. Laser cut ventilation holes run along the flanks of the jerseys. Fellow Kappa club’s Saprissa, Adelaide United and Leeds United are currently wearing kits using the same template from the Italian sportswear firm.
