Among Mexico’s best-supported teams outside Liga MX, Club de Fútbol Atlante have revealed their 100th Anniversary home kit.
The new shirt is provided by Los Azulgranas (The Blue and Garnets) technical sponsor since 2015, Kappa Mexico.
The Atlante FC 2016 100th Anniversary jersey is based on the shirts worn by the club during the early twentieth century. As such it uses a two halved look in blue and garnet as opposed to the stripes that the team has favored in recent times.
The sponsor logos on the kit are all in gold along with the years of the club’s existence (1916 – 2016) which are heatstamped above the Atlante FC crest.
Now campaigning in Mexico’s second tier of soccer, Ascenso MX, Atlante were Mexican Primera División champions as recently as 2007 and CONCACAF Champions League winners in 2009.
