Manchester United Ink Headwear Deal with New Era

Following the beginning of their blockbuster kit deal with adidas, Barclays Premier League giants Manchester United FC today announced a deal with New Era that will see the American firm become the team’s headwear partner.

The Manchester United Fall / Winter 2015 New Era range will launch on October 13th.

According to a release from MUFC and New Era: Manchester United (NYSE:MANU) has today announced a multi-year partnership with international lifestyle brand, New Era.

The partnership will see New Era produce dual-branded leisure headwear aimed at the club’s 659 million global followers.

Like Manchester United, New Era’s heritage lies within the world of sport. Established in the US in 1920, the company is best known for being the on-field cap for Major League Baseball, an accolade it has held for 81 years.

New Era’s flagship product is the 59FIFTY fitted cap, however the Manchester United product range will include different headwear styles, including caps, baseball caps, visors, hats, bobble hats and beanies.

Manchester United Group Managing Director, Richard Arnold, commented:
