Birmingham City FC 2015/16 Carbrini Home and Away Kits

Expected to be in the mix for promotion contention at the end of the season, Birmingham City Football Club are celebrating their 140th Anniversary this year. The Blues are celebrating the fact via their 2015/16 home and away kits from Carbrini.

Available soon at Carbrini parent company JD Sports, both shirts have a 140th Anniversary print on their outside upper back areas. They also use a commemorative crest that features intertwined BCFC initials used on the City kits of the early to mid-1970s. The year of the club’s founding, 1875, and 2015 also appear on the badge.

The sashed Birmingham City 2015/16 home jersey is a modern interpretation first original uniform worn by Blues’ founding group Small Heath Alliance in 1875. The new away shirt harkens back to the 1970s and is inspired by yellow, red and black 1972/73 Birmingham City away kit.

Last a Premier League side in 2011, Birmingham City finished last season in 10th place in England’s second tier of football.
