Peru 2015/16 Umbro Home Jersey

Umbro and Federación Peruana de Fútbol have released the 2015/16 Peru home football kit. The new La Blanquirroja (The White and Red) jersey was launched on Wednesday using the hashtag #UnidosPorUnNuevoSueño (United for a New Dream).

This is in reference to Peru’s quest to qualify for their first FIFA World Cup since 1982. The 2015 Copa America third placed finishers kick off their qualification campaign later this year.

The Peru 2015/16 Umbro home jersey will be available in two versions – the replica “Home” and the player issue or authentic “Home Elite”. Both will be on sale at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop.

The new Peruvian primary shirt uses the traditional white base and red sash of Peru’s national team. The red of the nation’s flag also appears on the rear of the jersey’s rounded collar and outer parts of its sleeve cuffs. The 1939 Peruvuian Football Federation crest appears on its signoff area in recognition of the year in which Peru won their first Copa America title.

The Peru senior men’s soccer team will debut their 2015/16 kit during September friendlies against the USA and Colombia.
