Tottenham Hotspur Debut 2015/16 Under Armour Third Kit in Audi Cup

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will wear a purple Under Armour third kit during their 2015/16 season. It is the first purple kit from Spurs since the 2011/12 season and marks the twentieth anniversary of the North London team’s debut in purple via their 1995/96 away uniform.

Tottenham debuted their 15/16 third kit during a 2-0 Audi Cup loss to Real Madrid in Munich on Tuesday. The jersey joins the Spur’s new home and away shirts in their latest match collection. All three will be on sale at World Soccer Shop, Under Armour, UK Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag.

The new Tottenham change shirt uses a bespoke design from Under Armour. It has a classic football shirt v-neck collar in light gray. The color is combined with a series of fine horizontal stripes that decrease in spacing for a gradient effect on the jersey’s sleeve cuffs and rear waistline. The same effect appears on the trim of the accompanying shorts and towards the top of the uniform’s socks.

Fifth placed Barclays Premier League finishers and League Cup finalist last season, Spurs kick off their 15/16 season with a trip to Manchester United on Saturday.
