Newcastle United says the their 2015/16 PUMA away kit makes uses of a geometric 1990s inspired graphic to provide a different look from their home and away jerseys. It also pays homage to what is now called the ‘Entertainers’ era when NUFC managed three top three Premier League finishes with squads that featured the likes of David Ginola, Les Ferdinand and Alan Shearer.
PUMA Formstripe taping is used on the kit’s sleeves in vivid Hawaiian blue. The shirt’s v-neck collar, PUMA and sponsor logos and a signoff pennant featuring the text “NUFC” also use the bright collar.
Completed with Hawaiian blue shorts and light gray socks, the Newcastle United 2015/16 away kit will be worn for the first time during this weekend’s pre-season friendly against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
