Wigan Athletic 2015/16 Kappa Home, Away and Third Kits

Published on

Wigan Athletic Football Club have signed a kit deal with Kappa Sport after a five-year stint with MiFit. The Lactics will don their new look 2015/16 home, away and third Kappa kits next season in their return to League One following relegation from The Championship at the end of their 14/15 campaign.

The Wigan Athletic 2015/16 Kappa home shirt is in the club’s customary blue and white vertical stripes and matched with blue shorts and white socks. The slim fitting jersey uses Kappa’s new y-neck collar and is predominantly blue in the sleeve and shoulder areas.

Wigan’s away uniform is an all black affair with white trim in its modern standup collar and sleeve cuffs. The third strip uses the same design but in all red. Wigan’s primary blue and white is used for its collar and sleeve trim.

All three of Wigan Athletic’s 15/16 kits were revealed at the DW Stadium on Friday. The former Premier League regulars also showcased their new training range from Italy’s Kappa. First teamers Richard O Donnell, Martyn Waghorn, Tim Chow, Lee Nicholls, Craig Morgan, Grant Holt, Jason Pearce and Emyr Huws were on hand to model the new collection.
