FC Porto 2015/16 New Balance Home Kit

New Balance today officially revealed the 2015/16 home kit home kit of Portuguese Primeira Liga powerhouse FC Porto. The new  ‘Dragões’ (Dragons) shirt will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.

According to NB Football: Since 1893, FC Porto has been relentless in the pursuit of glory; with a cabinet of honours that place the club at the top of Portuguese football. New Balance shares FC Porto’s belief that it is not about what has been achieved, but what is done the day after success. To this end, the traditional blue and white decorates a technical design that represents the cutting edge in forward-looking design.

The home kit is built upon both tradition and innovation. The iconic stripes of FC Porto, coupled with a fashion inspired mini stripe to the back and side panel gives a striking design aesthetic. Club colours of Oporto blue and white with a subtle hint of orange frame the jersey whilst maintaining a natural balance. Zonal mesh with moisture wicking NB DRY fabric technology is engineered into key areas to of the jersey to aid and promote breathability.

The kit is finished with both Oporto blue shorts, featuring the mini stripe DNA, and socks. Joining the outfield kit is the black, white and blue goalkeeper kit, adopting articulated elbow patches to increase movement; textured zonal fabric with increased flex fit stretch and treated body fabric with in-built NB DRY tech mesh panels offering breathability. The goalkeeper jersey is completed with the Oporto blue and white mini stripe DNA.

The kit incorporates NB Dry, technology that helps keep the body cool and dry whilst active. The moisture-wicking fabric releases moisture away from the body, making it fast-drying and is anatomically fitted to form around the player’s body shape for ease of movement. NB Flex technology, fiber construction that provides enhanced stretch for a less restrictive garment, is incorporated into the goalkeeper kit to help with motion and fit.
