The home and away kits that the Panamanian national teams will wear over the next year were unveiled in Panama City by La Federación Panameña de Fútbol (FEPAFUT) and New Balance this week. Both are now on sale at World Soccer Shop.
The Panama men’s Under-20 team will be the first to wear the new kits when they meet Argentina on May 30th at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand. The senior men’s national team (nicknamed “Los Canaleros”) will wear the New Balance 2015/16 kits at this summer’s CONCACAF Gold Cup in in the USA.
The Panama 15/16 home jersey is in the teams traditional red with a series of tonal stripes that decrease in width front the shirt’s center. It has a crewneck collar and is matched with red shorts and socks for a clean kit look.
The new Panama New Balance away shirt has a white base with light gray horizontal striping. The blue of the Panamanian national flag is included via a neck insert and through neck taping. White shorts and socks complete the alternate strip.
The Panama 2015/16 New Balance home and away jerseys both have a print harpy eagle (the country’s national bird) on its rear inside neck. A heat stamp of the eagle appears on the front lower right of the shirts.
