Olympique de Marseille today revealed their adidas home and third kits for their 2015/16 French Ligue 1, Coude de la ligue, Coupe de France and European seasons.Both will be on sale at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop and Subside Sports along with the soon to be unveiled OM 15/16 away shirt.
Olympique Marseille will wear the new mainly white home uniform in their Ligue 1 meetings with AS Monaco on May 1oth and Bastia on May 23rd. The blue third strip will make its match debut during OM’s pre-season campaign in July.
The 2015/16 Marseille home jersey uses what the club calls a “sober” design that uses the club’s traditional white with light blue accents. It features a ribbed Mandarin collar with hidden buttons along with an encircled team crest.
The Olympique Marseille 15/16 third kit takes its inspiration from the strong ties between the city of Marseille and the Mediterranean Sea that has long been an important part of its economy. Hence the sea blue colorway and horizontal lines on the jersey that are intended to produce an ocean effect.
Ligue 1 title contenders earlier in the season, a four losses from their last five matches have left the 1993 UEFA Champions League winners in fourth place in the standings with three matches to play.
