Italian Serie A regulars Udinese Calcio donned a unique two-halved kit during Saturday’s 2-1 home win over AC Milan.
Provided by club technical partner HS, half of the shirt featured the look of Udinese’s 2014/15 while the other half used the design of second tier handball team ASD Pallamano Rovereto Vallagarina.
The new kit was the highlight of the 2015 “Dacia Sponsor Day – The Split” event led by Udinese’s primary sponsor. The initiative celebrated motivational stories from lesser known sports such as Pallamano’s struggle to survive in recent years. At times the team has had to sell sweets and cakes to secure funding while playing at local middle school gyms.
