Promotion-chasing Swiss Challenge League (second tier) side Servette FC have have released 125th Anniversary home and away kits from up and coming sportswear firm Fourteen. The firm boasts fromer France international Christian Karembeu as president and has been Servette’s technical sponsor over the past two seasons.
The Servette FC 2015 125th Anniversary Fourteen retro jersey feature a prominent v-necks influenced by football shirts of the 1970s. The decade is regarded as one of Servette’s most successful periods because of the ten trophies (including three Coupe de Suisse and one Swiss league titles) that they won between 1971 and 1979.
The garnet home and white away kits have been produced in a limited run and are collections edition kits. Servette’s anniversary is recognized via an embroidered pennant below the club crest that reads “1890 – 125 ANS – 2015”.
Swiss champions on seventeen occasions, Servette FC has fielded well-known players such as Jean Beausejour (Chile), Oliver Neuville, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (Germany), Sonny Anderson (Brazil) and Philippe Senderos (Switzerland) over the last three decades.
