Iraq 2015 Asian Cup Jako Home and Away Kits

The Iraq national football team is through to the quarter finals of the AFC Asian Cup for the sixth tournament in a row. Over the course of the competition the team has been wearing their 2015 home and away kits from Germany’s Jako.

The Iraq 2015 Asian Cup home and away kits both use a simple design from Jako with a classic overlapping ribbed v-neck collar. Contrasting color blocks occur on the shoulder areas while the Iraqi national flag is embroidered on the jerseys’ chests.

The white Iraq 2015 Jako home kit was worn for the “Lions of Mesopotamia” Asian Cup group stage matches against Japan and Palestine. The green away uniform was worn for the team’s win over Jordan.

Iraq meets regional rivals and 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers Iran in the knockout round of Asia’s football championship at Canberra Stadium on January 23rd.
