Costa Rican powerhouse Deportivo Saprissa switched uniform suppliers from Spain’s Joma to Italy’s Kappa during the soon to be concluded domestic off-season.
The thirty one time and defending Primera División champions unveiled their first ever Kappa strips on Wednesday night in the form of their 2015 home and away kits (available soon at World Soccer Shop).
El Monstruo Morado’s (The Purple Monster’s) 2015 Kappa home jersey is in the club’s traditional claret while the away shirt is in their customary white. Both use the the Kappa Kombat 2015 shirt design that was released last summer and is now used for the Sampdoria, Torino and Cagliari 2014/15 match ranges.
Saprissa will debut their 2015 home kit when they kick off the Campeonato de Verano (Summer Championship) against AS Puma Generaleña at the Estadio Keylor Navas Gamboa (named after Costa Rica’s 2014 World Cup and now Real Madrid goalie).
