Gamba Osaka 2015 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Gamba Osaka had a historic season last year when they won the Japanese J. League Division 1 title along with the 2014 J. League Cup and Emperor’s Cup. The treble was achieved in the team’s first season back in J1 after a year in the second division.

As the club looks toward the upcoming domestic and AFC Champions League season technical sponsor Umbro has released the Gamba Osaka 2015 home and away kits.

The new Gamba home shirt is in their famous black and blue vertical stripes. This year’s primary jersey has wider stripes than in recent years. The alternate has a white based with gray pinstripes and a sash with comprised of black and blue halves.

Both shirts use the same new Umbro design with a contemporary standing collar and a subtle v-neck. A golden J. League champions badge appears on their right sleeves. Eight golden stars commemorating Gamba Osaka’s eight major titles appear above the kit badges. One of the stars is larger than the other. It representing the club’s 2008 AFC Champions League crown.
