River Plate 2014/15 adidas Away Kit

Reigning Argentine Primera División champions Club Atlético River Plate have released their 2014/15 adidas away kit. It is the first alternate shirt in recent memory from Los Millonarios (The Millionaires) to prominently feature a sash similar to that on their famed home jersey.

While the 2014/15 River Plate home shirt takes its inspiration from the club’s 1990s uniforms, the new alternate kit is completely modern in design. It uses one of adidas’ latest templates featuring a contemporary v-neck in black. The jersey’s sleeve cuffs, back arc and adidas logo are also in black.

The black and white from the River Plate club crest are used for the red-based shirt’s sash. This sees that all of the colors of the crest are represented on the jersey.

The River 14/15 away kit is completed by black shorts with red flashes (including diagonal bands on the back) and black socks accented with red and white.

The River Plate 2014/15 adidas away kit is expected to be available for purchase at World Soccer Shop and Subside Sports in the coming weeks.
