Vélez Sársfield 2014/15 Topper Home, Away and Third Jerseys

Ten-time Argentina Primera División and former world club champions Atlético Vélez Sarsfield are wearing a three kit collection from Topper for their 2014/15 season. The range includes Vélez’ home shirt along with two alternates that are used interchangeably.

The Vélez Sarfield 2014/15 Topper home jersey is in the team’s well-known white with a dark blue chevron on its chest. The team celebrates its roots in the Italian community of early 20th century Buenos Aires via including the colors of Italy’s national flag on the kit’s sleeve cuffs and inside neck taping.

The first of Velez two away kits continues to celebrate the club’s ties to Italy by replacing the dark blue chevron with a pair in green and red. In fact the shirt is called the “Alternativa Italiana” (Italian Alternative).

The second Vélez Sarfield 14/15 alternate kit has been used more frequently that the Italian-flavored away jersey because of its blue base. The shirt celebrates the 20th anniversary of El Fortín’s (The Fort’s) 1994 Intercontinental Cup title with a stamp on its chest that reads  20º CAMPEON MUNDIAL (World Champion 20th Anniversary). Its inside neck has a print of the text “el primero en ser un gran club” (the first to be a big club).

Vélez Sarfield are currently in eight position in the Primera table after fifteen matches played in the season. The club’s last match was an impressive 1-1 draw against league leaders River Plate on Sunday.
