Moldova Debut 2014/15 Jako Home and Away Kits in EURO 2016 Qualifiers

European minnows Moldova shocked Russia in Moscow on Sunday by holding the 2018 World Cup hosts to a 1-1 draw in a UEFA EURO 2016 qualifier.

Moldova debuted their yellow 2014/15 kit from Jako during the match. The introduction of the new uniforms follows that of Moldova’s blue 14/15 home strip in their October 9th home loss to Austria.

The Moldova 2014/15 Jako kits use a new design from the German sportswear firm. It is the same as the template that Jako has assigned to Macedonia – its only other sponsored European national team. The look is highlighted by contrasting trim on the sleeve, collar and side panel areas.

Currently ranked 105th in the world by FIFA, Moldova has never qualified for a major international tournament. Their last victory of note was a 4-0 beating of Saudi Arabia in May.
