Peñarol 123rd Anniversary PUMA Kit

Uruguayan Primera División powerhouse Club Atlético Peñarol celebrated their 123rd anniversary on Sunday with a 3-1 league win over River Plate. During the match the storied club worn a special edition kit from technical sponsor PUMA.

The fourth shirt in the club’s 2014/15 match range (see their home, away and third kits here), the CA Penarol 123rd anniversary shirt is a bright yellow affair with black accents. It uses the PUMA King kit template that has been in circulation among the German firm’s club since the summer of 2013.

The Twitter hash tag #123AñosDeGloria (#123YearsOfGlory) is printed at the rear bottom area of the jersey.

The Peñarol 123rd anniversary jersey is not expected to see further match action from the three-time club world champions.
