Portsmouth FC 2014/15 Sondico Third Kit

Fan-owned and among the best supported lower league clubs in the English Football League, Portsmouth FC debuted their 2014/15 Sondico third kit during their recent League Two meeting with Southend United.

Now available at Sports Direct along with the team’s new home and away jerseys, the bright yellow kit was the winner by a wide margin in a fan vote for Pompey’s second alternate uniform earlier this season. It is the third yellow shirt in PFC’s history with its predecessors appearing in the late 1980s and 1990s.

A Premier League club as recently as 2010 and FA Cup champions in 2008, Portsmouth are currently in eleventh position in the fourth tier of English soccer. Former players such as Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Peter Crouch (Stoke City), Suley Muntari (AC Milan) and Kevin-Prince Boateng (Schalke 04) appear in several of Europe’s biggest leagues.
