German Budesliga club SV Werder Bremen have unveiled their 2014/15 Nike away kit ahead of Sunday’s glamour friendly with Chelsea FC. The striped black and gray kit will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag, UK Soccer Shop and Subside Sports along with Die Grün-Weißen (The Green-Whites’) 14/15 home jersey.
According to Nike: This season Werder Bremen will play in a new away kit that gives them a bold and intimidating appearance on the pitch. The new away shirt skilfully combines Werder’s traditional green color with a new and striking graphic. The body of the shirt consists of four black stripes over top a tonal gray chevron graphic.
Werder’s famous green home colors are represented in the crew neck collar and the high cuffs, which both boast orange trim representing the club’s power, energy and positive approach. On the back of the shirt below the collar are the club’s extended initials SVW.
The new away shorts are black with a thin green stripe along each side, while the new away socks are black with a green band at the top. On the back of the sock is a wide tonal stripe of chevrons.
