English Football League Championship promotion favorites Wigan Athletic Football Club unveiled their 2014/15 home kit from sportswear firm MiFit earlier today at the DW Stadium. The new shirt will be worn by The Latics during tonight’s pre-season friendly with Turkish side Besiktas and will be available at Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop.
Provided by the Wigan Athletic’s technical partner Mifit, the 14/15 jersey uses the club’s traditional design of blue and white stripes. It is matched with black shorts and hooped blue and white socks. It features a black single button polo collar for a classic look. The kit is completed by black and white ribbed sleeve cuffs.
Latics skipper Emmerson Boyce commented, “It’s exciting when you see the new kit and I like the stripes, they’re the tradition for us.”
