Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona have signed a sponsorship deal with Turkish electronics firm Beko. The agreement will see Barca wear Beko’s logo on the right sleeves of their match kits starting with the 2014/15 season.
According to a press release from FCB: FC Barcelona and Beko announced today the signing of a new agreement which will see the global home appliance group become the Club’s. worldwide sponsorship partner for the next four years. The deal will see Beko’s new logo, also unveiled today, featured on the sleeve of the new team jersey and training kit. Beko will become the first commercial brand to benefit from a permanent presence on the official team jersey’s sleeve.
The new kit was unveiled today at the Ricard Maxenchs Press Room at FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou stadium in the presence of Josep Maria Bartomeu, President of FC Barcelona Mustafa V. Koç, Koç Holding Chairman of the Board; Javier Faus; Economic Vice President of FC Barcelona and Levent Çakıroğlu, President of Koç Holding Durable Goods Group and Arçelik A.Ş CEO.
FC Barcelona launched their 2014/15 Nike home kit in May. Current replica editions of the shirt do not carry the Beko logo.
