The Canada Soccer Association and technical partner Umbro have unveiled the home jersey to be worn by all Canadian national teams during the 2014/15 international soccer calendar.
The new kit made its debut at at BC Place in Vancouver, BC on Wednesday night as the Canada’s Women’s National Team met Germany in an international friendly. It will be available at World Soccer Shop.
Canada’s 2014/15 Umbro home jersey is in the team’s traditional home red with a horizontal sublimated color pattern intended to provide “subtle contrast and interesting visual detail.” The new shirt has displaced side seams and an under arm panel for added players’ comfort and performance.
The new kit continutes to feature the “sound wave” embellishment that is now a staple of the Canada’s kits. Umbro has added a back neck Canadian flag and a maple leaf calling out the laser cut eyelets for breathability on the side seams.
