The Latvian Football Federation (Latvijas Futbola federācija) recently presented the adidas home and away kits that will be worn by its national teams during the 2014/15 international football calendar via a press conference in Riga.
The claret home kit made its debut in last week’s 1-0 win over Lithuania that saw the Latvian men’s senior national side claim the 2014 Baltic Cup. The mainly white away uniform will see action when manager Marian Pahars (known for his exploits as a forward with Southampton FC) takes the field for its EURO 2016 qualification campaign in September. Both will be available at Subside Sports and UK Soccer Shop.
EURO 2004 qualifiers, Latvia is currently ranked 109th in the world by FIFA. The team finised a distant third behind Bosnia-Herzegovina and Greece in the 2014 World Cup qualification group.
