AS Roma 2014/15 Nike Home Kit

Last season’s Italian Serie A runners-up AS Roma have officially launched their home kit for their 2014/15 league, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League campaigns. It will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag ASR stores in the coming weeks.

According to Nike: Next season the Giallorossi will take the pitch in the “ultimate Roma kit” that uses a new design rooted in the club’s glorious history.

Unveiled on Tuesday in Rome by several AS Roma first team regulars, the new home shirt is the first in the former Italian champions partnership with new tehcnical sponsor Nike. It uses a classic and sharp design in Roma red and with a drop-needle tonal stripe throughout.

The shirt features deep yellow sleeve cuffs and a unique red polo neck collar with yellow benath. The collar can be popped up to offer a stylish Italian flourish and show pride in club colors.

Inside the back neck of the AS Roma 2014/15 home jersey is a yellow textured pennant tab with the statement: “La Roma Non Si Discute Si Ama,” (‘Roma is loved without question’), the famous motto that has always defined the Roma fans’ sense of belonging to their team.

The new AS Roma home shorts are white, while the new home socks are no longer black, but instead red to echo the traditional appearance of the club’s sides. On the back of the sock is a tonal stripe made up of chevrons.
