Known for producing Chelsea and Brazil national team midfielder Ramires, Joinville EC launched their 2014 home and away kits from Umbro Brasil this past week.
Last season’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (second tier) sixth place finishers’ 2014 shirts both use a minimalist Umbro design with a ribbed v-neck collar. The Santa Catarina state flag is printed on the outside upper back of the jersey with the text “DESDE 1976” (Since 1976) on its left and right sides. The year is in reference to the JEC’s founding some 38 years ago.
In the hunt for their first Série A appearance since 1987, Joinville are currently in third place in Brazil’s second division after six matches played.
