Defending Canadian Championship winners Montreal Impact have released their 2014 adidas home jersey for recently started Major League Soccer season. It is now available at World Soccer Shop in replica and authentic versions.
According to the Impact website: Remaining close to the themes of the original design, the new blue first jersey continues to pay homage to the city and the province with our symbols: the blue colour, the Mont-Royal cross and the fleur-de-lys. However, the cross has been shifted to the left, while there is a new fleur-de-lys on the lower, front of the jersey.
New to this jersey is a special tribute to the Ultras Montréal, the team’s main supporters group, with their motto “Tousjours Fidèles” on the inside of the collar.
Montreal will play their first home match of the 2014 MLS season on March 22nd following losses at FC Dallas and Houston in the first two rounds of the season. The club currently features former Italy national team players Marco Di Vaio and Matteo Ferrari.
