FC Dallas have opened their new Major League Soccer season with a win over the Montreal Impact and a draw at league champions Sporting KC. During both matches FCD have worn their recently released 2014 adidas home jersey (now available at World Soccer Shop in replica and authentic versions).
Released using the theme “Red for 90”, the FC Dallas 2014 home shirt sees the team return to an all red look for the first time since being rebranded from the Dallas Burn in 2005. The team’s traditional hooped look is maintained but via tonal red bands instead of the usual FCD red and white horizontal stripes. The new kit was worn for both of the club’s 2014 MLS season matches so far.
MLS Cup runners-up in 2010 and US Open Cup winners in 1997 (as the Dallas Burn), FCD currently features internationals such as Blas Pérez (Panama), Hendry Thomas (Honduras) and Je-Vaughn Watson (Jamaica).
