Switzerland 2014/15 Home and Away Kits

PUMA launched the Switzerland 2014 FIFA World Cup home and away playing kits earlier this week.

The Swiss gave their new red home kit a debut on the pitch during Wednesday’s 2-2 friendly draw with fellow World Cup qualifiers Croatia in St. Gallen. Both shirt are now available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports and Kitbag.

The home shirt is a simple and sophisticated design and a standalone silhouette for the Swiss national football team.

The design of the shirt is inspired by the Swiss flag; the main body colour is PUMA Red and white lines run vertically down the left and right side of the torso. It also features a subtle tonal embossed Swiss Cross across the main front panel, representing the national pride of Switzerland.

PUMA player Stephan Lichtsteiner and Swiss National Team player said, “The new kits that PUMA have made are really nice. The style is great and the design reflects the pride we all feel for our nation.

This week when we play against Croatia will be the first time we wear the new kits on pitch and put the new performance technology to the test. Having a shirt with the ACTV tape actually combined into the inside is a great idea and I’m looking forward to wearing a shirt that will help our performance.”
