Seattle Sounders 2014 adidas Third Jersey

Well-supported MLS team Seattle Sounders FC have unveiled a predominantly black 2014 adidas third jersey. Nicknamed “Pitch Black”, the new shirt will be available at World Soccer Shop along with the rest of the Sounders 2014 adidas range.

According to the Sounders website:  The third kit features a Pitch Black jersey accented with radiant green trim, shorts and socks. The adidas 3-Stripes on the shoulders fade from green to black. Inside the jersey, along the collar, is a glossy “soundwave” design that represents the energy of the fans.

The crest is two colors with a lenticular or magnified Space Needle in the background. This detail is also included on the shorts. All authentic Pitch Black jerseys will include the 40th Anniversary logo.

There is an iconic band on the back of the jersey, above the players name and number, which represents motion in a salute to the World Cup and Brazilian influence.

The new kit is one of the lightest jerseys and features adidas ClimaCool technology for temperature regulation and moisture management.

US Open Cup winners on three occasions since becoming an MLS team in 2009, the Seattle Sounders open their 2014 season against Sporting KC on March 8th.
