The qualifying draw for UEFA EURO 2016 was held at Nice’s Palais des Congrès Acropolis on Sunday. Eight groups of six teams and one of five were drawn in which teams will play home and away fixtures starting on September 7, 2014. The nine group winners and runners-up along with the best third-placed side will qualify for the final tournament to be held in France. The eight remaining third-placed teams will be drawn in home and away play-off series with the winners going through to the 24-nation European football championships.
