Yokohama F. Marinos 2014 adidas Home and Away Kits

Last season’s Emperor’s Cup winners Yokohama F. Marinos have launched their adidas home and away kits for their 2014 Japanese J. League and domestic cup campaigns.

The Yokohama F. Marinos 2014 adidas home jersey uses a v-neck design featuring halves in two tones of blue. The differing shades are meant to represent the dawn of a new era for the club by incorporating the darker blue uses in last year’s home shirt along with a the lighter tone.

The back of the kit is highlighted by a yellow arc in its upper area similar to those on the 2014 adidas World Cup jerseys. As with the World Cup kits, the area above the arc is ventilated.

Yokohama F. Marinos’ 2014 away jersey is all orange with a white v-neck, sleeve cuffs and a series of diagonal stripes on its front in a darker tone of orange.

J. League Division 1 winner in 1995, 2003 and 2004, Yokohama F. Marinos finished last season in second place. The club is captained by Celtic FC legend Shunsuke Nakamura.
