Resurgent Mexican club Cruz Azul have released their 2014 third jersey from gear providers Umbro. The new shirt is now available at World Soccer Shop and Tienda Fútbol Mundial along with La Máquina’s (The Machine’s) 2013/14 home and away shirts.
The mainly red Curz Azul 2014 Umbro third kit is also intended to commemorate the club’s 50th consecutive season in the top-tier of Mexican soccer, La Primera División.
Accented in gold, the new shirt features a shield on its lower front left containing text celebrating Cruz Azul’s first Primera win on January 19th, 1964. Since then the club has gone on to win eight Mexican league and five CONCACAF Champions League titles.
