Coritiba 2013/14 Nike Away Kit

Currently in fourteenth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Coritiba Foot Ball Club unveiled its 2013/14 Nike away kit on Wednesday. Along with the club’s new home  and third kits, it will be available at the Subside Sports Brazilian club store.

Worn during yesterday evening’s 0-1 Série A home loss to Alexandre Pato and Corinthians, the Coritiba 2013/14 away jersey is inspired by the club’s famed “Jogadeira” shirt worn when the team won the 1985  Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title.

The new jersey features wide vertical green and white bands  and a v-neck collar. The next “Campeão do Povo” (Champion of the People) is printed on the rear upper back of the in recognition of Coritiba’s 1973 Torneio do Povo (Tournament of the People). The title was Coritiba’s first national championship win of any sort. The text also appears on the team’s 2013 home jersey.
