Wales 2014 adidas Home Kit

The FAW has revealed the Wales 2014 adidas home kit (available now at Subside Sports and JD Sports). It is the first Dragons kit from adidas following the FAW’s recent switch from Umbro to the German sportswear giant.

According to the Football Association of Wales wensite: The new kit re-ignites a long standing relationship between Wales and adidas and pays homage to the iconic kits of the 1980’s when Ian Rush, Mark Hughes, Dean Saunders and Neville Southall lined up in what became known as the Golden Generation of Welsh Football.

30 years later, the Wales squad will again put on the red adidas jersey as Aaron Ramsey, Ashley Williams and Gareth Bale aim to become Wales’ new Golden Generation through qualification for the UEFA Euro 2016 Finals.

The new kit includes the latest in adidas performance technologies, with this jersey being the lightest ever made – 40% lighter than previous kits.

The Welsh Senior and Junior teams will all wear the new kit from November onwards as they head into the qualification programme for UEFA Euro 2016 in France.
