The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and current technical sponsor PUMA have quietly released a white Republic of Ireland 2013 away kit. The new shirt is now available at World Rugby Shop, Lovell RugbyandKitbag Rugby along with the Ireland 13/14 home kit.
Using the same PUMA design as the Ireland primary shirt, the jersey has prints with the flags of the island’s four provinces on its upper inner back area. The colours of the Leinster, Ulster, Munster and Connacht provincial flags are included on its neckline taping.
PUMA bought out its €40 million sponsorship contract with the IRFU earlier this year. Since it was scheduled to run until 2017, the IRFU is now seeking a new kit provider with Canterbury rumoured to be PUMA’s likely successor.
