Indy Eleven will kick off its inaugural season in 2014. The Indianpolis-based soccer club will become the North American Soccer League’s latest expansion team and ninth in the USA’s second tier of professional football.
Earlier this week the Indy Eleven unveiled their 2014 jersey collection from Diadora. The Eleven also announced a shirt sponsorship deal with Honda that will run until 2016.
The club is running a poll on its website until next Tuesday that will allow fans to select whether the blue and red Indy Eleven shirts will be the Indy Eleven’s 2014 home kit.
All three jerseys feature a the checker-pattern that “pays homage to the club’s Brickyard Battalion supporters group and Indianapolis’ (car) racing culture. The team’s distinctive crest is placed over the heart on the left side of the shirt, while the Diadora logo will counter on the right side. The back of the jersey features the Indy Eleven wordmark under the collar and outlined numbers in a font unique to the club.”
