Red Star Belgrade Marakana Stadium 50th Anniversary PUMA Kits

Serbia SuperLiga p0wer Fudbalski Klub Crvena Zvezda (known in English as Red Star Belgrade or FC Red Star) has launched special edition 2013/14 PUMA home and away kits in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the club’s storied Marakana Stadium.

The new Red Star jerseys use a distinctly retro design that is new for PUMA 2013/14 kit cycle. Each features a pronounced polo collar and v-neck reminiscent of football shirts of the 1960s and 70s.

The year that the Marakana was opened, 1963, is printed on their upper backs while a stadium badge featuring the letter “M” appears in the center breast area above the stadium opening date of 1.9.1963. A paragraph of text about the Marakana is printed on the jersey’s inner upper back area.
