Borussia Dortmund 2013/14 UEFA Champions League PUMA Home Jersey

Borussia Dortmund have unveiled their PUMA 2013/14 UEFA Champions League home kit. It will be available at Subside Sports, Kitbag and World Soccer Shop along with the club’s new domestic home, away and third jerseys.

According to the BVB website: The new yellow jersey relies on a distinctive design with two contrasting black sleeves and two side tape stripes on the front. In addition to a lavish black round neck polo collar, it is equipped with special, new elements: reflective lateral taping and PUMA cat logos.

With this effect, the new Champions League jersey is reminiscent of the legendary “floodlight jersey” worn for BVB’s match against Benfica in December 1963. The 5-0 win saw Dortmund win the 1963 European Champions Clubs’ Cup.

The story of this “game of the century” 50 years ago is printed in the neck inside the new Champions League jerseys. The lower part of the back of the shirt features the ext “Dortmund”.
