Liverpool Football Club have officially unveiled a black, purple and white 2013/14 Warrior third kit. Worn during The Reds training session at Melwood on Thursday, it will be available at World Soccer Shopand Kitbag.
According to the LFC website: Brendan Rodgers’ team will sport the third strip in four Barclays Premier League away matches next season, as well as away fixtures in domestic cup competitions and the club’s summer pre-season tour.
Featuring a dominant black base with striking white and purple trim, the latest strip takes inspiration from the Reds’ 1995-96 away kit.
The shirt’s front panelling has been reworked into three contemporary tiles, the sleeves reflect detailing in the accompanying socks, and colour-blocked shorts balance the overall look.
As with the club’s home and away strips for 2013-14, the new third kit has been constructed using War-Tech – Warrior’s revolutionary apparel technology system.
Powered by breathable, moisture-wicking fabric, mesh panelling under the arms and across the back provides optimum ventilation, allowing for added comfort and temperature control in core heat areas.
