SM Caen 2013/14 Home Kit

Normandy-based club SM Caen (or Stade Malherbe Caen) missed out on promotion by six points when it finished the recently concluded French Ligue 2 season in fourth place.

The former club of Swedish legendary striker Kennet Andersson and currently featuring several West African internationals, the club will celebrate its 100th Anniversary in November. As part of its centennial celebration, SM Caen has launched a Nike 2013/14 home kit featuring club crest featuring the year of its founding.

Worn during Friday’s 2-1 win over GFC Ajaccio, the 13/14 SM Caen jersey also includes a print of all of the team’s crests over the last hundred years on its upper back.  The text “100 ans de legende” (100 years of legend) is embroidered in gold on the lower front left of the kit.
