2013/14 Kits

Queens Park Rangers 2013/14 Lotto Home, Away and Third Kits

Queens Park Rangers Football Club have unveiled their Lotto 2013/14 home, away and third kits for next season’s English Football League Championship, FA Cup and League Cup campaigns. All three kits are now available at Kitbag.

According to the QPR website: The 2013/14 season will see the return of a couple of fan favourites to Loftus Road, as well as some new arrivals.

Firstly, the new season’s home shirt has returned to the wider hoops which characterised some of the kits worn by legendary players throughout the club’s history, such as Marsh, Bowles, Francis and Ferdinand. The hoops are outlined by thin red edging, giving them a little more emphasis.

There have also been a couple of innovations to the design, such as the ‘Poly Stretch’ fabric. This material will move perfectly with the players, improving breathability, ergonomics and total comfort.

The new design for the collar also provides a more modern feel, with the hidden red button adding a touch of class to the kit, especially when coupled with the embroidered ‘QPR’ on the back of the neck, and the embroidered crest, which creates a high-impact 3D effect.

The away kit shares the technical features of the first, as well as also offering a nod to the club’s history.

However, this kit has a unique distinction of being voted for by the QPR fans themselves! R’s supporters were offered a choice of four kit options and voted emphatically for the red and black hooped kit, or what many fans fondly refer to as our ‘Dennis the Menace’ kit. The upcoming season’s version also includes a set of thinner black lines around the bottom of the sleeve, adding a simple, elegant effect.

Finally, the third kit, which is inspired by the colours of Tony Fernandes’ Caterham F1 Racing Team. For the first time in several seasons, along with the other two strips, the kit is also hooped, with dark green alternating with strong yellow. This kit was also a strongly placed runner-up in the fans’ vote for the away colours.
