Brazil 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup Squad Named

Brazilian national team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has named his 23-man squad for June’s 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.

Notable exceptions to the roster include veteran midfielders Ronaldinho and Kaka along with Chelsea midfielder Ramires.

The Seleção will prepare for the tournament with exhibitions against England on June 2nd and against France on June 9.

Seeking their first major title since winning the 2009 Confederations Cup, the Brazilians are pooled with Asian champions Japan, CONCACAF champions Mexico and EURO 2012 runners-up Italy in Group A of the competition.
